This space hosts all of the elements of a fully-equipped Tech Hub. The Tech Hub self check-in is conveniently located adjacent to the Front Porch Lounge, where guests can await service in a high-performing lounge equipped with personal worksurfaces, power, coffee, and snacks. Technicians will call short-term guests to the adjacent space for quick problem-solving, where issues and solutions can be projected on large shared monitors or sketched on markerboards. Another public space is the highly-visible Store + Vending experience – guests may select tech items via a self-service badge scan, or test out the latest technology. For a more private, 1:1 experience, technicians may take guests to the enclosed Long-Term Help spaces where issues can be resolved on shared monitors with access to power, a place to hang a bag, and can support both in-person and virtual connections. Technicians who require individual focus can shift to owned workstations, which provide the privacy and focus needed to work alone or with peers. Within this space, technicians are provided with access to multiple monitors, markerboards for making ideas + project work visible and plenty of locking storage for back-log projects, vending inventory, and temporary loaner devices. Finally, a large-scale Customer Education space is dedicated to the Tech Hub for training sessions, with mobile seating, digital and analog surfaces, and enclosure for visual or acoustic privacy as needed.
