Project-based Learning is a collaborative process in which student teams work together to solve real-world problems or answer complex questions. Rather than serving as a culmination of learning, PBL projects drive students’ learning, from initial inquiry to final product. Due to this, PBL activities require informal flex spaces adjacent to the classroom where students interact and iterate to create authentic, public-facing experiences or solutions.
