This patient room has been divided into three zones: the clinician zone, the family zone, and the patient zone. The clinician zone is strategically located near the entrance of the room to foster efficiency, while providing the least amount of disruption to the patient and family members. A small desk is placed in the family zone to provide a dedicated workspace to care partners, when needed.
